What is Prayer in IQRA QURAN?
IQRA QURAN calculates today's prayer times for your location — Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, plus Ishraq, Chasht, Awwabin, Witr and Tahajjud — with a live countdown to the next prayer. Choose Hanafi or Shafi Asr and one of nine calculation methods (Karachi by default), and get azan alerts.
Today's times and countdown
See which prayer time is running and how long until the next one, with the five farz prayers and the nafl times (Ishraq, Chasht, Awwabin, Witr, Tahajjud).
Always on the home screen
The home page shows today's Hijri date, your location, the next prayer with a countdown and all five times at a glance.
Azan notifications
The Android app plays the azan at each prayer time; on the website, alerts ring while the site is open in a tab. Turn each prayer on or off.

Frequently asked questions
Which calculation method is used?
Karachi (University of Islamic Sciences) by default, as in the app. You can switch to Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, Dubai, Diyanet, Tehran or Singapore.
What's the difference between Hanafi and Shafi Asr?
Hanafi Asr starts when an object's shadow is twice its length; Shafi (standard) Asr starts at once its length, so Hanafi Asr is later.
Is my location stored?
No. Prayer times are calculated in your browser; your location stays on your device.
